Workers’ Health in Modern Society

Tags:, , , , .

Modern world requires extra-stamina to keep up with its pace. Formal work can often take up to 12 hours per day in the big cities like New York, Jakarta, Tokyo, and so on. It is quite interesting to see how people live now. They work for a living, but how could they enjoy life while working, wearing out themselves everyday?

Money is one thing and health is another. They both are related to each other in a way that healthcare always costs you something. What is wrong is that many people often live to work. They can’t get enough and that’s a good value according to modern society. Health nutrition is no longer an important issue. Health financial condition is. The result is clear now: many under 40 workers have suffered from heart attack; there are kids suffering from obesity due to junk food consumption; people get stressed out easily.

It is necessary to build a good understanding of health today. Children and women’s health may be considered the most important issues. However, the Health Department should know that apart of it, workers’ health should be concerned seriously. They are the machine of society’s productivity, but then again, even a machine needs a rest and a good fuel.
